Have you heard of My Paper Pumpkin? It is a monthly subscription through Stampin’ Up (and me), whereby you receive each month in the mail, a kit to make cards or gift boxes or in this case, pinwheels. You get everything you needs from the inks, the stamps, the raised foam Dimensionals, all the buttons, ribbons, embellishments you need to create that month’s projects. Directions are provided as well. You do need to provide the double-sided tape. And it’s fairly seasonal, so you’ll get Valentine’s Day in January, Mother’s Day in April; Father’s Day in May and Independence Day in June. It costs $19.95 per month, but multiple month subscriptions are discounted.
These delightful and patriotic papers came in the June, 2014 kit. They were already cut and pierced to make 24 pinwheels. Just put them together. I didn’t really have a use for pinwheels, but I kept the paper and used the diagonal cuts for sails and a boat. The center mast straw was for holding the pinwheels, but I cut it down for the mast.
The little banner and sentiment are from one of the early photopolymer sets called Settin’ Sail. I fussy cut it out and popped up with Dimensionals.
Couldn’t be easier.
Thanks for looking,
