The colors used here are what make this pretty Lotus Flower even more attractive. The base is Strawberry Slush card stock with a mat of Blushing Bride. These two colors compliment each other beautifully.
The Blushing Bride mat has been dry-embossed with the Lovely Lace Embossing Folder.
This sweet Lotus Flower is a 3-step process and each of the 3 steps/layers stamps are marked so you know where to go next.
The first layer (in Strawberry Slush ink) is just a loosely structured frame. The second layer (also in Strawberry Slush) is a little more structured. The third layer (inked in Blushing Bride ink) is a solid image, with no defining petal lines, as the definition was already stamped in the previous two steps.
This flower, stamped on Whisper White, was then matted with Strawberry Slush and a small strip of the Strawberry Slush Stretch Ribbon (retired) is mounted to the backside, so it just peeks out from underneath. The sentiment is stamped on White and punched out with the Modern Label Punch.
