Can’t see the forest for the trees? This card won’t much help, but it is certainly pretty.
Festival of Trees, featured in the Stampin’ Up Holiday Catalog has five different tree designs, plus tinsel and ornaments.
The Mossy Meadow InColor card stock is the perfect backdrop mat for this card. Add a couple of flag-ended strips for accent in contrasting paper, including the Gold Vellum (stripes). Another piece of Mossy Meadow is the top flag. Notice the coordinating On Point Embossing Folder is accenting that top flag, and then some Gold Sequins to bling it up.
Two trees are stamped on Whisper White with the Mossy Meadow ink and punched out with the coordinating Tree Punch. Then the focal tree is hot-embossed in Gold Embossing Powder, using just the tinsel stamp and then hot embossed again with just the dot ornaments in the Cherry Cobbler Embossing Powder. Then the whole image is simple punched out. To make a contrast, another punch of plain Whisper White is cut in half (lengthwise and spread apart to give an outline to the front focal tree, which is then popped up with a Dimensional. The gold star is punched out of Gold Foil and popped up with a Dimensional.
The sentiment is stamped in VersaMark, hot embossed in Gold and die-cut with the Itty Bitty Banner framelits. I tiny gold bow is added with the 1/8″ Gold Ribbon. Sweet.
