This is such a simple and pretty card, suitable for all occasions.
The Six-Sided Sampler stamp set in Stampin’ Up’s Annual Catalog has 8 six-sided images and the coordinate with the Hexagon Punch, which makes life ever so much more fun!
The base on this card is Very Vanilla, with a layer of Calypso Coral. The Calypso Coral piece is run through the Big Shot with the Honeycomb Embossing Folder. The Designer Series Paper on the left is from the lovely DSP Epic Day.
The Six Sided images were stamped in Pool Party, Gumball Green and Calypso Coral on Vanilla and punched out with the Hexagon Punch. Then they were randomly placed and popped up with Dimensionals. Even though the Honeycomb Embossing Folder makes smaller hexagons than the Six-Sided Sampler and the Hexagon Punch, the embossed background clearly fits the theme.
A strip of retired 3/8″ Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon covers the seam between the DSP and the embossed Coral piece. Super easy, pretty quick and quite lovely.
