This is the great new Language of Love set from the Occasions Catalog that begins January 3.
The farthest left banner flag (also in the Language of Love set) is perfectly paired with the Pennant Punch in the Big Catalog. The tiny banner next to it is punched with a FREEBIE in the Sale-A-Bration Catalog, which begins January 28.
Banners are not going away anytime soon, which is fine with me because I just love them!
The base is Very Vanilla, with a mat of Pool Party that has been embossed with the new Scallops Embossing Folder (Occasions Catalog). A strip of Real Red across the top makes the “base” for the banner. The flags were stamped or punched out of the retired More Amore Designer Paper and adhered to the piece of Island Indigo Baker’s Twine to appear to be “strung” on the line.
The focal image heart is stamped with Real Red on Vanilla and cut out with the Hearts Framelits. It looked a little too plain, so an additional heart die-cut with the retired Scalloped Heart of Hearts Embosslit did the trick to make it pop! A Rhinestone is added to a tiny heart within the stamped heart image.
