I am among the truly grateful fans of this set, called
Truly Grateful. The wheat stalks are so realistic and detailed that it helps capture the spirit of Thanksgiving.
The stalk image was stamped using Staz-On Timber Brown on Very Vanilla Card Stock. Using a permanent ink keeps it from running when coloring the image with water-based Markers. The colors in this palette are Basic Gray, Crushed Curry, Tangerine Tango and Very Vanilla. Howlstooth & Scaringbone (retired) Designer Paper completes the background. Soft Suede Marker is used for the stems of the wheat.
Then the focal image is stamped on Vanilla and then die cut with the Ovals Framelits, and a larger oval is used to cut a piece of Crushed Curry to mat the focal image, then popped up with Dimensionals. Crushed Curry Chevron Ribbon compliments the chevron pattern in the DSP.
The message is in the Truly Grateful set, colored with markers on Very Vanilla, and then punched out of the Modern Label Punch. Another piece of Crushed Curry Card Stock is also punched with the Modern Label and cut in half in the middle and lined up, so it looks like it is framing the sentiment, then popped up with Dimensionals.
Notice the envelope is lined with the same paper, using the Envelope Liner Framelits.
Here is the same card made with a portrait orientation.
Thanks for looking!
