Big bold background stamp, Pleasant Poppies, is the focal point for this card.

The base is Whisper White, with a mat of Certainly Celery (retired) that has been embossed with the Fancy Fan Embossing Folder.

I hot embossed the Pleasant Poppies image on Whisper White using Black Embossing Powder and colored in the poppies with Calypso Coral, Poppy Parade (retired) and Crushed Curry markers and the stems with Pear Pizzazz marker.

Then the image is cut with the Oval Collection Framelits and backed with a non-SU orange card stock, cut with the next size larger Oval Framelit. A strip of retired designer paper is cut and both vertical sides are punched with the Scallop Border Punch and a strip of Certainly Celery ribbon (retired) run down the middle of the DSP, with a couple of Basic Rhinestones added for a little bling.

The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and is punched with the Large Oval Punch to duplicate the oval from the focal image.

Here is the same concept with the Poppy image embossed in White Embossing Powder on Basic Black card stock. Stampin’ Up markers will not show up on black, so I used gel pens, which were very pale and faint and then covered the dried gel pen coloring with SU Markers to increase the color.

The black card stock was cut with the Top Note Die. The base is Certainly Celery embossed with Fancy Fan Embossing Folder and embellished with a strip of orange card stock, scalloped with the Scallop Border Punch and edged with Certainly Celery ribbon (retired).
