Showing off the beautiful Wildflower Meadow background stamp and coordinating Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder, I created four different cards employing four different techniques, color schemes and styles.

First, stamp the full image of Wildflower Meadow with Pistachio Pudding ink on Whisper White.  Then emboss with the coordinating Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder to make the image “pop.”

With a mat of Strawberry Slush, I cut an oval, close to the top using the Ovals Framelits, embossed the bottom using the Delicate Designs Embossing Folder.  I wrapped a piece of Primrose Petals Satin Stitched ribbon on the embossing line of demarcation, added some dyed Fabric Flowers (dyed in diluted-with-water Strawberry Slush Re-inker) to offset the flowers. The Happy Birthday sentiment is stamped with Strawberry Slush ink and punched out with the Word Window Punch. The Strawberry Slush mat, with the Whisper White inside the oval is adhered to a base of Pistacio Pudding cardstock.

This next card uses Baked Brown Sugar, very simply stamping the image with Baked Brown Sugar ink on Baked Brown Sugar card stock.  Then emboss with the Wildflower Embossing Folder.

To accent the image, I outlined each flower with White Gel Pen. Then the finishing touch was adding a couple of strips of 7/16″ Natural Trim to opposing corners. With an image as beautiful as this, one doesn’t want to cover much of it. You can stamp a sentiment on the Natural Trim… or not.  The card is mounted on a base of Very Vanilla.

This sweet little card uses Bermuda Bay, Coastal Cabana and Whisper White. I stamped the image on a piece of Bermuda Bay with VersaMark and hot embossed with White Embossing Powder. That was mounted on Basic Black and both were mounted on Whisper White that had been embossed with the Framed Tulips Embossing Folder. The White was mounted on Coastal Cabana and then on a Whisper White base. The bird was stamped on White with Pistachio Pudding, fussy-cut by hand and adhered  with a Dimensional to be elevated over the frame. Basic Rhinestones were added for accent.

This delicate card was made using Whisper White
Vellum and Crisp Cantaloupe.  I colored right on the rubber stamp with Crisp Cantaloupe and Gumball Green Markers.  Giving it several ‘huffs’ to re-moisten any areas that might have started drying while coloring other parts, I then stamped on Whisper White.  The Markers can then be used directly on the image to deepen, shade or accent any of the petals or leaves.

Emboss the Vellum using the Wildflower Meadow Embossing Folder and overlay over the Whisper White image piece.  Situate it so it directly accents the colored image underneath, then adhere only across the top.  Any adhesive you use will show, so cover the adhesive showing through with a piece of Crisp Cantaloupe Ruffle Stretch Trim.  Adhere to a Crisp Cantaloupe mat and a Whisper White base.

The sentiment can be added on the Vellum or on the White, your choice.
