This cheery card is made using Bloomin’ Marvelous and the Sycamore Street Designer Series Paper (DSP) and coordinating ribbons and buttons.
Start with a Whisper White base, add a layer of Pool Party, which was embossed with the Vine Street Embossing Folder. Two strips from the Sycamore Street DSP and a strip of Island Indigo were all made to have a flag or banner “V” at the bottom, using the corner of a 1″ Square Punch. All the banners were placed on the right side of the card, from the top and ending in purposely uneven levels on the bottom.
With a piece of Whisper White, randomly stamp the flowers and leaves from the Bloomin’ Marvelous stamp set, using Pool Party, Lucky Limeade and Tangerine Tango inks. Stamp the butterfly from the same set with Island Indigo ink on Whisper White card stock and punch it out with the Bitty Butterfly Punch and pop it up with a Dimensional. Punch out the entire Whisper White piece with a 1-3/4″ Scallop Circle Punch and using Dimensionals, adhere it to the card front.
Add 3 strips of ribbon, one each in Tangerine Tango, Pool Party and Island Indigo across the top and finish with a Pool Party button.
The sentiment “Oh Happy Day” is also from Bloomin’ Marvelous and is stamped with Island Indigo ink, preferably BEFORE the embossing, but it works after the embossing as well.
