Cottage Window was the first set I purchased out of the 2012-13 Big Catalog, but why I’ve never used it is beyond me. It is suitable for man or woman, sweet enough for Get Well, Thinking of You, Birthday, Just Because or ??? The little bird reminds of an old friend stopping in to say Hi. Who doesn’t have an occasion to send a card like that?
The base is Bashful Blue, with a Top Note frame in Whisper White. I added a Bashful Blue designer paper behind the top half and a Chocolate Chip designer paper with a tiny blue fleck on the bottom. I used a piece of woodgrain Naturals Composition Specialty paper for the window sill and scalloped it with the Scallop Border Punch.
The focal image of the window was stamped on Bashful Blue in Soft Suede and I used the Stamp-A-Majig to position the branches and the little bird. Then butterflies from Beautiful Wings Embosslit in other colors and patterns were scattered around for variety.
The message is from Teeny Tiny Wishes and stamped with Soft Suede ink on Whisper White, punched out with the Word Window and matted with a piece of Bashful Blue punched with the Modern Label Punch.
